Re: 18th Century Siblings

Classics will always work (Edward, John, Henry, Frederick, George, William; Elizabeth, Mary, Anne, Jane). Royals and nobility are always good to look at because they often set the fashions and tone for the names of the era. For example, George III had:
George
Frederick
William
Charlotte
Edward
Augusta Sophia
Elizabeth
Ernest Augustus
Augustus Frederick
Adolphus
Mary
Sophia
Octavius
Alfred
Amelia
or the Spencer girls
Georgiana
Henrietta
Louisa
Charlotte
Some of those are probably heavily German-influenced. Octavius was also the eighth son; I know other families might have had an Octavia for a girl or Septimus as a seventh child.
Also, the "i" in Sophia and Maria tended to be pronounced with an -eye- sound instead of -ee-.
Check out Jane Austen names too.
