Re: Artemisia
I've always liked it, but I think it probably is too much for naming a child, unless you can think up a terribly mainstrean nickname! I do like Mimi for a little girl. I would use it as a middle to a shorter name- Ruth Artemisia is a favourite of mine.MN suggestions:Artemisia Diane
Artemisia Lettice (although if you did use Artemisia maybe a more mainstream MN would be better!)
Artemisia Rhiannon
Artemisia Louise
Artemisia Morgan
Artemisia Roxanne (I especially love this one)
Artemisia Faith
Artemisia Annemarie
Artemisia Helga
Artemisia Nadine
Artemisia Mary
Artemisia Bethan
Artemisia Natalie
Artemisia Jean
Artemisia Pixie (guilty pleasure)
Artemisia Cassidy (another guilty pleasure)
Artemisia Estelle
Artemisia Niamh
Artemisia Elen
Artemisia Sophie
Artemisia Corinne
Artemisia MathildeI also love Lee as a middle for either gender, especially followed by a second middle. I think it opens up so many more options. Most one-syllable names can serve the same purpose, though. I really like two-MN combos. For Artemisia, I like:Artemisia Lee Daisy
Artemisia Sarian Mae
Artemisia Tirion Lee
Artemisia Lee Jane
Artemisia Elodie Jean
Artemisia Lee Freya
Artemisia Grace Anna
Artemisia Grace Olga
Artemisia Penelope Jean (favourite again)
Artemisia Heather Grace
Artemisia May Marie
