Theodore - lovely strong boys name
Milo - not a big fan of, keeps reminding me of the adorkably cute guy out of Disney's Atlantis.
Harvey - to me this sounds like a dog's name
Kirk - no, just no :P
Grant - I like it as a middle name, not a first
Roosevelt - I can honestly only think of this as a surname
Cody - it's okay
Julius - interesting Roman name but not for modern use
Grover - dislike
Albany - was unaware that this was a name
Errol - being completely honest every time I hear this I think of Ron Weasely's family owl from Harry Potter, so a no from me as a human name :D
Candy - I like it as a nickname
Michaela - don't like, sounds pretentious
Lauren - a nice name
Indy - As a nickname it could work.....
Lola - dislike with a passion
Silver - I honestly don't know
Xanthippe - interesting Greek name, not too sure about this
Fargo - interesting
Lolly - no

Theodore- Theo with an accent that I am too lazy to type is gorgeous. Theodore is quite nice
Milo- alright. Not a bad name
Harvey- I like this, it feels somewhat rustic to me
Kirk- makes me think of Cobain, which is sad
Grant- nope, my feeling is somehow simultaneously dated and tacky, like Dolly, I guess
Roosevelt- how I wish I liked this name! FDR is my top favourite role model. I'd probably use Delilah Frances in the end
Cody- I've only heard it on girls
Julius- fun!
Grover- noooo
Albany- it is growing on me as I type
Errol- okay, associated with Harry PotterCandy- nope, too cutesy
Michaela- I like it, and this is coming from someone who hates feminisations, especially blatant ones like this. But McKayla has tackified it
Lauren- okay although a bit bland
Indy- fun! A good nickname
Lola- lovely
Silver- I love the sound and the imagery, and it was my favourite name a few years ago (Silver and Phoenix were going to be twin girls.) However, it does seem like it would be hard to bear. Sylvia is a favourite
Xanthippe- oooh, good fun
Fargo- ew, no
Lolly- I actually know a Lolly. I think she was a Lauren who always went be Lolly and just got it changed, and I also think she spells it Loli. Cymraeg iawn :)
Caroline- oh, beautiful, classic. And so many nice nicknames! Callie, Carrie, Carla, Carol, Lina, Calla... the list goes on

Theodore - love it, adroable, cuddly
Milo - love it, outgoing, bubbly, and a bit lippy :)
Harvey - retro, could almost be cool in a nerdy way
Kirk - All I see is Gilmore Girls
Grant - I feel like Grant would be stiff and boring.
Roosevelt - too presidential to be usable
Cody - blech. 1992.
Julius - Orange? :)
Grover - I like it.
Albany - that's cool. I've never heard of it as a name before, but I kind of like it.
Errol - I have always liked the sound of this, but not the look of it at all.
Candy - awful, tacky
Michaela - boring and the 'ae' has always annoyed me (irrationally, but still...)
Lauren - I knew a lot of them growing up (80s) but it could be almost fresh nowadays
Indy - I like it as a nickname for Indigo
Lola - baby sounds
Silver - I think I would prefer it on a boy
Xanthippe - Lol, that's a real name? Somehow it sounds a bit joke-y to me.
Fargo - Like the city? Around here I wouldn't use it. If I could separate it from that, maybe. But again, I'd prefer it on a boy.
Lolly - NO. Tacky as heck
Caroline - So nice. I'm liking Caroline more and more these days.
Dulcie - I didn't know that was a name. I know a Delsey, so it sounds like a mispronunciation to me. It's okay though.
Buttercup - Oh dear. Cheesy and lame-o.
Sue Ellen - Old school, but okay, I guess.
Farrah - too celebrity-associated, I would think

Theodore - sounds nice, very British and noble.

Roosevelt - surname.
Cody - extremely ugly.

Theodore - It's all right, but can get stuffy. Theo is definitely the best nickname, Ted is terribly dated.Milo - I'm not terribly enthusiastic about using it personally, but it's a nice name to encounter in real life. I personally prefer Miles, though.Harvey - Even more dated than Ted. It doesn't help that I have an Uncle Harvey who's pushing 60.Kirk - This name can make a comeback, even though it rhymes with jerk. I think it's potential familiarity can be traced to the modern Star Trek adaptations. (Also, Kirk Douglas is still around.)Grant - Ulysses S. Also, grant writing.Roosevelt - Teddy, FDR, etc. This is one of those names that screams "loves presidents too much," like Reagan.Cody - Even though I know adult males with this name, this doesn't sound like an adult's name. Cody sounds perpetually cutesy and child-like.Julius - Orange.Grover - Muppet. Also a president, who was elected two separate times, but maybe because this was his first name it doesn't scream "president" so much as... well, Muppet.Albany - All right city in New York. I used to fly into the airport all the time when I was in college, though, and the airport is very nice.Errol - Flynn. This name absolutely cannot be separated from swashbuckling. If that association doesn't put you off, though, then go for it!Candy - Retro-stripper. Or a tiny dog.Michaela - Not my style, but far from the worst thing to be named.Lauren - I like the sound, and would consider using it... if I didn't know SO MANY LAURENS!!! (I was born in '91, that's why.) It is strictly a feminine name, though.Indy - 500. And later Indiana Jones, but the Indy 500 comes to mind first.Lola - Because I was a 90s kid, the very first thing I actually think of is Lola Bunny. And then I can't get "Cause she's my Loh-lah! / Luh-luh-luh-luh Loh-lah!" out of my head.Silver - This is grouped with the feminine names, but I find nothing feminine about it. Silver belongs with Sylvester and Sylvan before Silvia / Sylvia.

Buttercup! I wish I had the guts to Princess-Bride-reference my kids.... but alas I do not. And, I would likely, and unfortunately, pass judgment on someone who did. In the form of a horse joke. So sorry.
The rest:Theodore - Works, I should think of the President, but I think of the Huxtable. Theo is nice though. Milo - I do like this. Prefer Miles, since I have known too many cats named Milo. Still a sweet name. Harvey - Always think of Casper the Friendly Ghost (ala Miss Ricci) and imagine that blonde frenemy saying "Haaar-veey". Outside of that, it's a dusty name that would be chic on a hipster. Kirk - Star Trek references will always win for me. I do think this still has dated status, but it works. I know that everyone would be spea-king like--Will-yam-Shat-ner forever. Because it's fun. Grant - Nice word name that people forget is a word. Still a solid choice that works. I have literally never met a Grant that wasn't successful. People just seem to grant Grants what they want. Roosevelt - Not for me. I would totally name a dog this. A great big dog. It just fits. Cody - Eh. I find it 90s annoying. Julius - Swoon! Only because I happen to be married to the most handsome man in the world, who just also happens to be named Julius. People love his name, but it's probably because he rocks. Grover - It's adorable! And, it reminds me of Sesame street. Albany - A place name that I do not like. Errol - very cool, and very pirate-y. Ok, so only Errol Flynn pirate-y, but still arggg, harggg, good.

Oh, I love the Princess Bride!
I clicked on this post especially because I saw Julius and knew you'd say something sweet. :)

Theodore - It's a nice name, but I'm a bit bored by it because it's so popular here.
Milo - like it
Harvey - meh, kind of neutral
Kirk - like it. I prefer it as a middle name. My Kirk combo is Jesse Kirk
Grant - dislike
Roosevelt - don't like it at all, not as a first name anyway.
Cody - yuck
Julius - like it!
Grover - hate it
Albany - not that bad. I can't stand Alban but Albany is quite nice.
Errol - okay
Candy - I wouldn't be able to take it seriously as a name.
Michaela - I like this spelling. It's a pleasant name.
Lauren - not a fan
Indy - prefer it for a boy and as a nickname for Indiana
Lola - There's a song by the Kinks named Lola, that's what I think of. I don't like the name.
Silver - nice but I prefer it for a boy
Xanthippe - in French that's a word for someone who acts like a b****. We had a cat when I was little with that name. I don't think it's a good name for a human
Fargo - Ooh, I like it! But not for a girl. For a boy, I think I could love it.
Lolly - no, yuck
Caroline - my name, it's hard to have an opinion on your own name.
Dulcie - hate it
Buttercup - hate it
Sue Ellen - When I was eleven I had a penpal in Portugal named Sue Ellen. It's nice. I like it. I love, love, love Ellen but I think you're asking about the combo and as a combo Sue Ellen is really sweet.
Farrah - I can't decide if I like it or not.

I like Caroline, and Errol is ok. Don't like the rest!

Brutal honesty:Theodore - strong, more old fashioned than classic, "heavy", I like it but not enough to use
Milo - a malted barley drink
Harvey - great name for a dog
Kirk - dated, all that comes to mind is Captain Kirk
Grant - ok, bland
Roosevelt - a President?
Cody - dated, 80s/90s
Julius - all that comes to mind is Caesar
Grover - Sesame Street
Albany - a place, not a very masculine name in my opinion
Errol - Flynn?Candy - not very classy
Michaela - love this spelling, I want to like it but the army of Mikayla's in the 90s has ruined it for me
Lauren - 80s in my opinion, but nice enough
Indy - quite nicknamey, short for Indiana or Indigo or something else?
Lola - prefer Lila / Lilah
Silver - ditto Candy
Xanthippe - this is really cool, would love to meet one in real life!
Fargo - the movie? Not very feminine
Lolly - ditto Candy, alright as a nickname for Lauren
Caroline - I can never picture this on a baby, but an ok name
Dulcie - not sure about this one, can't make up my mind!
Buttercup - a cow?
Sue Ellen - kind of 50s?
Farrah - ok

Theodore: one of my favourites, I love it. Especially with nickname Theo.
Milo: it's alright, but I prefer Miles.
Harvey: I used to like Harvey a lot when I was younger. I'm not so fond of it anymore, but I still don't mind it.
Kirk: not really... It reminds me of Earl for some reason, and I like Earl. But not Kirk.
Grant: I think I'd like it as a middle name, but not a first.
Roosevelt: it's cool, I like it, but I find it hard to imagine it on a real person.
Cody: not very fond of it. I prefer Coby. Cody reminds me of the word code.
Julius: I like it. I love Julian too.
Grover: pretty bad. I like names like Tanner, Archer etc. But Grover sounds too dorky.
Albany: I could get used to it. It's quite and quirky.
Errol: I used to know a boy called Errol, so I think of him.Candy: very eighties
Michaela: hate it. And all spelling variations.
Lauren: I really like Lauren, much better than Laura etc.
Indy: no. just no.
Lola: I love Lola, it's cute but not frilly.
Silver: pretty bad. It's not a name imo.
Xanthippe: I like it, but it would be very hard to pull it off.
Fargo: really?
Lolly: even worse than Candy
Caroline: boring.
Dulcie: what?
Buttercup: seriously?
Sue Ellen: I like it. Sue is nice, and it pairs well with a lot of names.
Farrah: it sounds very harsh. Not really my thing.

The names I really like are Lola, Buttercup but wouldn never use it and Milo.
I really do not lke Lolly, Michaela and Candy. The rest are fine but not favourites, I think Silver is better as a male name.

Theodore - like it, and love the nn Theo
Milo - don't like it, bad association
Harvey - not bad, prefer it as a mn
Kirk - hate it. don't like the sound
Grant - oafish
Roosevelt - only as a mn, and don't particularly like it
Cody - is a weak name for me
Julius - not bad, better than Julian

Theodore - Great name, weak nicknames. Theo = Huxtable; Ted and Teddy don't do him justice.
Milo - dog or whiny kid
Harvey - Sooo cool. I heard a sibset recently Hazel & Harvey and it's been on my mind ever since.
Kirk - I used to love Kirk but now I see it as douchey/dorky.
Grant - meh
Roosevelt - Hmm. Not sold. It's too strong, too polarizing to use as a first name.
Cody - see Milo but add dirt
Julius - Very cool, love the German pronunciation even though I had a gross relative with this name.
Grover - monster
Albany - So torn on Albany, I think about it a lot because my sister lives near there. I adore the way it looks mostly. The city is just too strong a connotation, though. It's not name-y enough. I used to love the combo George Albany, IIRC.
Errol - Unbalanced.Candy - dated, prefer Candace on its own
Michaela - I like Michaela. I'm a fan of "put an a at the end of a traditionally man's name". Josepha and Michaela fit the bill.
Lauren - yawn
Indy - Pretty cool, have you considered Indigo?
Lola - yas queen
Silver - I like Sylvie too much to take this seriously, Silver seems like a waste.
Xanthippe - Kimmy Schmidt much? :) Yeah it's been on my mind too. I like it.

I think Theodore, Milo, Harvey, Julius, Michaela, Lauren, Lola, Caroline and Dulcie are all fine and perfectly usable names. Lola's meaning would personally put me off using it though. The other names are just not my style.

I'm always brutally honest ;). Theodore - seems to be everywhere online right now, but I've never actually met one. I really like it, I like the sound of the full name and all of the nickname options.
Milo - Really handsome, I go back and forth on whether it's too childish or not, it's similar to Chloe in that way.
Harvey - a bit dated, a bit country hick but I kind of like it.
Kirk - Too dated and tied to Star Trek
Grant - Fine, does nothing for me.
Roosevelt - I think it would make a cool middle name but
Cody - I don't know how it's viewed other places but where I live Cody is the ultimate white trash name.
Julius - Lovely.
Grover - No. Just no. It's as unusable as Elmo.
Albany - I really like Alban, it's handsome and unusual but Albany isn't really a name.
Errol - It's okay. Candy - Trashy. Candice is fine although not really my style at all but its fine. Candy on it's own is a stripper name.
Michaela - Lovely name spelled this way. I worry it'd get lost amongst all the Mikayla/Mykayla/McKayla's.
Lauren - I prefer Laura myself but Lauren is beautiful and classic as well.
Indy - ana Jones. I dislike India, but I'd prefer that to just Indy on it's own. I know several people with the nickname Indy, and suits them they are all named Indra or Indira.

Xanthippe - spectacularly ripe nappies/diapers
Fargo - several enormous, lively and completely unkillable cockroaches under your bed
Lolly - root canal treatment with the rubbish student dentist
Caroline - tea with sour milk with lumps in it
Dulcie - like being stuck on a packed bus next to hawking coughing spitting person with heavy cold who doesn't use a hanky
Buttercup - accidental chili juice in your eyeballs
Sue Ellen - dirty hairbrushes with tons of manky hair and dandruff in
Farrah - hornets! Or maybe just wasps, let's not go overboard here.

Theodore: I like it, but mainly because of the nn Ted.
Milo: Kind of weak and sneaky.
Harvey: Curmudgeonly.
Kirk: Kind of dated surfer-dude-ish. Like he'd hang around with somebody named Lance.
Grant: Like a grunt.
Roosevelt: As a first name, it only works on a black guy, and it's very dated and stereotypical.
Cody: Simpering, dribbling baby name.
Julius: Better than Julian, anyway.
Grover: Lovable, furry old Grover. My favorite Muppet.
Albany: Can't imagine it as a name.
Errol: Like an error.
Candy: Dated and tacky. Candace is much nicer. One of my uncles used to have a three-legged dog named Candy.
Michaela: Much prefer Makayla or Mikayla.
Lauren: Love it.
Indy: Doesn't seem like a name to me, very insubstantial.
Lola: Very dated, very tacky, almost cartoonish.
Silver: Hi ho, Silver! Good name for a horse, not a person.
Xanthippe: Can't see a person named this.
Fargo: Woodchippers and crazy Swedish guys.
Lolly: What Lola calls herself when she's walking the streets.
Caroline: Kind of downbeat and glum.
Dulcie: Silver's foal, maybe.
Buttercup: Maybe a yellow cat's name, but not a person.
Sue Ellen: I have the Dallas theme music playing over this one.
Farrah: Never liked.
