I will be the first person to stand up and say I am a big fan of "effeminate" boy names.
But I don't want be ridiculous about it.
I don't see how on earth you are making Elizabeth into a boy's name. The rest, I can see.Arleigh is the same as Arlie.
Lauren is Laurence without the ending or Loren which I've known two guys named.
Audrey is nms, but hey, it's a letter away from Aubrey.
Hailey has been used on guys like Haley Joel Osment so why not?
I just can't figure out Elizabeth here. Nope.Anyway, here are a list of names that most people find "girly" that I would only ever use on boys.
(In no particular order)
(ETA: Most unlinked names are still in database, but as user-submitted so they don't link.)Darcy
Chelsey / Chelsea (We used to have a guy on the boards named Chelsey)
Morgan
Merripen (Romani name)
Brencis
Coriander
Valentine / Valya
Willow
Vivian / Vyvyan (Oscar Wilde's son's name was spelled Vyvyan and I have a soft spot for the absurdity.)
Sorrel
Shiloh (Although I don't think this have ever been used for a girl in the first place.)
Lilian (male name in France)
Jocelyn / Joscelin / Joss (Joss Whedon)
Marilyn (Okay, I like this one on both genders)

I think Lauren could work on a boy. And maybe Arleigh, but I don't like the name and definitely not this spelling.

I could deal with Arlie; Arleigh looks like it's trying to be cute and unusual, and is absent in the knowledge that the -leigh suffix has been done to death. The rest are pretty much a no from me. I wouldn't mind Haley for a boy, in the same way I wouldn't mind Kaley, as they're both pretty nondescript and therefore quiet ambiguous. I have a list of, not feminine boys' names, but just names that aren't ambiguous, but could be if you needed them to be. It's seen a change since I first posted it, so here it is again - Aderyn
Noor
Quinn
Blair
Ainsley
Robin
Eden
Acton
Reagan
BronteI don't like "feminine" names for boys as much as I don't like "masculine" names for girls; I like gentler names and tougher names, respectively. I was going to post a list of the former, but I guess boys' that isn't what you're asking for at all, and I don't want to bother you with it, haha.

Arleigh is probably the only name of the five you mentioned that looks masculine to me. But I've never heard of it before/ It looks made up.The others are definitely feminine ONLY! Maybe except for Audrey which I would accept as a boy middle name.
I don't think that Elizabeth is meant to be used on boys at all...
As to Lauren: I know a boy named that way, but in this case it's pronounced very differently and therefore I'm fine with it (LOW-ren).Those are probably the only names that I would accept for both girls AND boys:Alexis
Celestine
Cyrille
Florence
Francis
Harlow
Laverne
Quinn
Sage
Teagan
Taylor
Val

Ew. Elizabeth is so associated with women in my mind that a guy named Elizabeth would seem like an unhappy mistake. The sound of Audrey isn't particularly feminine, I guess, but I don't like it as a guy name.Lauren sounds like Loren and Laurence, so eh. nms. doesn't seem that feminine and would be okay. Hailey and Arleigh are surnames so that's nms either but they're not too feminine. Some people think Valentine is feminine. I don't. I think it's masculine enough.
Same with Garnet, Diamond, Jamie, Kim, Kelsey, Kelly, Terry, Tracy, Leslie, Lynn, Vivian, Marian, Robin, Liberty, Sidney, and Dana. I don't like them as guy names **because** I think they're feminine ... I think they're masculine enough for guys. I just think a lot of other people think they are feminine. That's all I can think of at the moment.

Elizabeth is in no way appropriate for a boy. Neither is Audrey. The rest of your list could be okay (though I'm not sure I like Arleigh at all for anyone), but the best one is Lauren. I see no problem with giving Lauren to either a boy or a girl."Feminine" names that I like or at least don't hate on boys (likely not a complete list):Addison

There is a difference between feminine-boy names and giving a boy a girls name, which I am not a fan of. I dislike the trend of giving girls boys names and I don't see the appeal of the opposite either. I don't think any of those names are suitable for a boy.
I do like plenty of soft sounding/feminine boys names like:
Ariel
Ambrose
Aubrey
Avery
Eamonn
Elia
Jules
Julian / Julien
Laurence
Lucien
Milan
Noah
Rowan
Stellan
Sylvan
Sylvain

I don't like any of those for a boy. Ones I do like:Jocelyn / Joscelin
Shiloh (though technically, it IS a boy's name)
Riley
Paris (again, should be a boy's name anyway)
Hilary
Hollis
Hero
Arlie
Alexis

I think those are terrible for a boy. I prefer Sage for a boy but I think it's used more for girls.
