Re: Top ten name opinions-girls!
in reply to a message by Emma Olivia
Emma - a strong, solid, traditional name.
Olivia - bored of it. Olive is much better.
Ava - yawn
Isabella - I have shared my dislike of Isabella, Isabelle, Isabel et al many times.
Sophia - I like it a lot, but not one I'd use.
Mia - dislike. A lot.
Charlotte - it's my name. I see why people love it, but I also see why people don't like it. I guess like Emma, it's strong, solid, and traditional. Personally I do love my name, and it's certainly better than some of the other names I almost got called.
Amelia - one of my most disliked names. I'm the daughter of a doctor, who once told me the meaning of the medical term Amelia, and for me personally, it makes the name unusable. Plus I don't like how it sounds either. And I've never known a nice one. The girls at my school named Amelia were all awful.
Evelyn - lovely, beautiful, but getting very overdone.
Abigail - don't like it. Never have, never will. I think all the appalling spellings that have appeared over the years (yes Abbygale, Abbeygail, Abbigayle et al, I'm talking about you), have ruined it.
