I have a Polish/Ukrainian ancestor from a small Polish/Ukrainian town in what was the Austro-Hungarian empire circa 1900 who called himself "Ilko" or "Hylko" -- has anyone seen this name used by Poles or Ukrainians? I'm thinking it is probably a nickname but have no idea what the root name would be. THanks
