Although Behind the Name has slightly different preferences that the national most popular names, it appears that we are still very much subject to trends. I love Alice, so it makes me a little exasperated that everyone else likes it too. If we all end up with daughters named Alice, it wont be as interesting on here. I liked a lot of the girl names, but I wasn't as crazy about some of the boy names.
