The only nickname I think you could have with Leah is Lee. I think it's fine on its own though.

I've spent some time thinking and I can't find one other than Lee...

How about Elle? As in the first letter of her name? Leah is pretty hard to shorten.

That's a cute idea.
I have a son Matthew and we call him M from time to time!

I'm looking for nicknames for everyday use since there are too many Leah's around here (in my generation) I guess most nicknames are silly ones but none for everyday use :( I gues Leelee or Lela maybe even Leia? Or I could combine my middle name with Leah. Thanks for the options though everyone!

Well, I can think of a lot of pet names/affectionate nicknames for Leah (LeeLee, Leela, Leahbelle...) but none that are suitable for everyday use, except for maybe Lee.If you want to make the name stand out, maybe pair it with a short middle name like Rose or Jane and then call her by the whole thing (or make it a double first name)? Leah is short enough for that to work.

I love love love the name Leah. I don't think it needs a nickname either. It's so sweet the way it is.
Lee or Lee-Lee would be the only thing I could come up with, unless you wanted to incorporate a middle name like:
Leah Katherine nn Leah Kate.

I was about to mention Lee as wellone of my best friends is named Leah and her mom calls her Lee. but I agree with the aforementioned sentiment that Leah is so short and pretty it doesn't need a nn. I still understand wanting one though. maybe her nn will come more from her personality rather than her name.

I don't know why you would need to nick name Leah.
Lolly
Lele
Leah Beah or something rhymy

I'm just wondering if there are any nicknames for Leah because it's a incredibly popular name around here. I suppose you need a name like Alexandra to get nicknames since there are only silly ones you can make out of Leah (Lea-tard, Lea-loo, Leah-Beah aren't really what Im looking for)
