I have a special yen for feminine "i" names, and India fits right in. It has the added bonus of the exotic associations of the country / subcontinent. Indira is a similar name I love.
Finding the right mn can be tricky. Some that work for me:
India Mirabel (= miracle in Latin)
India Christabel
India Pascale
India Cecily
India Mary
India Sandrine
India Carys / Charis
India Maris
India Leontine ("LAY-un-teen")
India Celeste
India Gisele
India Marjorie
India Caroline
India Persis (too geographic?)
India Persephone
India Chloe
Sorry for any repeats. Are there any you like here? Anything but another noun as a mn. I dislike names that sound more like phrases than names. (ex: India Ruby, India Rose, etc.)
I saw a set of twins on TV once, Fergus and India. Too cute.
