Violet LynnI would go with a family name, even if it is not the best combination. But Violet Lynn is not bad. I love Violet (and Viola). And I do think a short mn sounds best with Violet anyway. Violet Anastasia, hands down. Very nice. :)____

I'm really starting to like Violet, it seems dainty and feminine. I think Violet Noelle sounds the best.Leslie, lucky mommy to Scott (2000), Delaney (2002), and Larissa (2005)

I adore it. I hope it won't appear "trendy" now that the Afflecks have named their dd this. :- Of the combos you listed, the only one I like is Violet Lynn.

Whenever I see Violet, I instantly think of the word 'violent'- quite sad, I know. Of the Violet combos, I like Violet Winter the best, even though Violet Noelle is pretty :)

I really don't like this name; it reminds me of Violent. Violet Anastasia is the best I guess, but not Violet Winter! Looks like Violent Winter to me :-/

Violet Winter has a certain charm to it. Haunting and poetic.

Violet is one of my favourite names right now. I have trouble finding a MN that sounds "right" with it, but tend to think longer names sound better. Violet Lynn - generally dislike Lynn as a MN because it is so generic, but as a family name I guess it's okay.
Violet Noelle - Too heavy on the vowel sounds for my taste, desite like both names
Violet Anastasia - I really dislike Anastasia, so it taints it for me.
Violet Winter - it sounds funny because of the double double syllables.Right now my favourite Violet combos are Felicity Violet & Eleanor Violet.

I love the name Violet, as a name to go with it I'd suggest something old-fashioned, delicate and feminine. Violet Sophia perhaps.Felicity Violet & Eleanor Violet.Ooh, those are cute.

I like Violet Winter, but I prefer spelled Wynter... but I doesn't go well with Violet that way.

I think Violet is a great name. It's more of an older name, which will sound refreshing today. My fave combo is Violet Anastasia.
