What are your thoughts on this name?
I like Victoria. I know a teenaged Victoria who goes by Tori. I think it's pretty, and I think the nicknames are cute. With nicknames it can work for either prissy or tomboy; it has range.Would you consider using it for your own daughter?
I have considered this name, but it's not a real contender. Nothing wrong with it, but it's not in my top 25 or so. I think I would prefer Victory or Victoriana. I would use Victory without a nickname, and not sure on the nickname for Victoriana--maybe Tori, maybe Ana, maybe Vicky... really it's not a style I'm as into anymore. Victory still seems cool, but I can't see using that either.I like:
Victoria June
Victoria Catherine
Victoria Lily
Victoria Frances
Willow Victoria
Laurel VictoriaI love:
Victoria Rose
Victoria JaneIsobel Victoria is just okay.

What are your thoughts on this name?
While others imagine beautiful specimens when hearing this name, I can't think of anything other than a "fast mean girl" type. This mostly due to a bad association, but I think it also sounds very pretentious.Would you consider using it for your own daughter?
Not a chance. What's your favorite nickname for it? Or do you prefer it without a nickname?
Vickie or Tori.Thoughts on these combos:Victoria Frances eases the negatice association... a little.

I love Victoria and I would consider using it as a middle name. It is a nice classic. I am not fond of any of the nicknames, which might be why I prefer it as a middle name.
Victoria Rose --I dislike Rose. This is a bit R heavy for me anyway.
Victoria June --This is sweet.
Victoria Catherine --I love this and would use both names.
Victoria Lily --I like both names, but I dislike the flow somehow.
Victoria Jane --This is also nice.
Victoria Frances --I love this.Willow Victoria --Willow isn't my cup of tea, but the names flow well together.
Laurel Victoria --I'm not so fond of Laurel and I think it has a strange flow.
Isobel Victoria --I like this, but I prefer Isabel to Isobel (not that I dislike Isobel).

What are your thoughts on this name- very pretty, a little bit icyily haughty, but clasically beautiful. There is a delectible tartness about it, like a fresh nectarine.Would you consider using it for your own daughter? - No, I'm not overly fond of any of the nicknames that it has. Maybe as a middle name, if I had a Victoria to honour. What's your favorite nickname for it? Or do you prefer it without a nickname?
- Prefer it withoutThoughts on these combos:Victoria Rose - lovely but unimaginative
Victoria June - smooth and soft, June relaxes Vicky's starch with her homespun cottony warmth.
Victoria Catherine - very polished and unapproachable
Victoria Lily - semms arbitrarily paired
Victoria Jane - nicely balanced; simple Jane tempers Victoria's slight snootiness
Victoria Frances - Good match, no-nonsense Frances calms frilly Victoria nicelyWillow Victoria - very stately without being aloof; Willow's touch of hippie whimsy sits comfortably next to gussied-up Vic.
Laurel Victoria - so perfect and collectedly calm as to be a marble statue; rather bland
Isobel Victoria - Too icy for me; a real Princess in the purple. Perfect manners and no personality.

I like it very much and would definitely use it as a middle name. All your first-name combos are nice - I like Victoria Jane and Victoria Frances best, and Isobel Victoria from the middle name combos.

What are your thoughts on this name? It's elegant, and it sounds pointy, if that makes any sense. I personally find it a little harsh, but it's great for someone else's kidWould you consider using it for your own daughter? NahWhat's your favorite nickname for it? Or do you prefer it without a nickname? I prefer no nickname, I just don't like Tori or Vicky. Though my mom had a friend Victoria "Toire" (twahr) which I like Thoughts on these combos:Victoria Rose- pretty and elegant, but not special
Victoria June- just doesn't flow right to me
Victoria Catherine- Absolutely gorgeous and this spelling of Catherine works the best, it's a really strong combo, and I think Catherine softens the edges on Victoria
Victoria Lily- I have trouble saying this, I accidentally say Victolia :P
Victoria Jane- sometimes Jane is pretty and makes a combo elegant, but somehow it makes Victoria seem a bit dull
Victoria Frances- the combo is okay, but not especially compellingWillow Victoria- graceful, combos the soft sound of Willow with the pointy sound of Victoria, which works very well, gets my vote
Laurel Victoria- not a fan really too much OHR sound in the middles
Isobel Victoria- this is amazingly beautiful visually and flows nicely

I love it, the way it looks, sounds, its history and its meaning.Would you consider using it for your own daughter?
I did. I named my dd Victoria "Brooke." My dh wanted to name her Victoria Jane. If I could do it again, I would have gone with Victoria Jane to make him happy but I would have called her Toria or perhaps Tora. What's your favorite nickname for it? Or do you prefer it without a nickname?
I don't care for Vicky but admit to calling my dd Vic from time to time. My fave nns are Toria, Tora and Tori. Vita and Ria would be cute too.Of your combos, I like:Victoria Catherine
Victoria Jane
Willow Victoria
Laurel Victoria
Isobel Victoria

Quite frankly it's horrible to me. I think it's a bit revolting and I can't come up with any other reason except that I've met some awfully disgusting people that go by Victoria, Tori, and Vicky. I just hate it so much, but I should like it. It fits my style, as does Samantha, another that I feel this way about. I'm sure there are some very nice people with this name, but I would never in a million years use it. I'd rather name my child Shantikwiaah.I admit, Laurel Victoria has a bit of charm, but the Victoria part just ruins it for me.

Love it... If I were to have enough daughters to use up a bunch of the other names I totally love first, I'd use it... Too many name combos to use all in real life, but I like it and would lend a Victoria combo to someone else since I'd be happy to see it on someone. My preferred Victoria combos are Victoria Mio and Sambi Victoria.
Re: nns, I prefer Tori to Vicki and Vicki to Vicky, but Victoria is such a beautiful name, it seems a waste not to use the full name.As for the combos you have, they're likable enough for the most part... w/ the exceptions of Lily which I'm tired of and Isobel that I really don't like. Rose I'd prob'ly like better paired w/ something else since the Rs in the 2 names are so close. The others likely wouldn't be my first picks, but they're pretty decent combos.

What are your thoughts on this name? I think Victoria is a beautiful name.Would you consider using it for your own daughter? Not as a first name. If I used it as a middle name it would only be in the combo Eloise Victoria. What's your favorite nickname for it? Or do you prefer it without a nickname? I prefer it without a nickname, but I don't mind Tori (this spelling only). From your combos, I like Victoria June, Victoria Catherine, Victoria Frances, Willow Victoria, and Isobel Victoria.

What are your thoughts on this name?
Very pretty, surprisingly unpopular right now. One of my oldest friends has this name, so I connect it with her.Would you consider using it for your own daughter?
I'd consider it, sure. My mother loves it, for one thing. What's your favorite nickname for it? Or do you prefer it without a nickname?
I prefer it without a nickname, but Tori is acceptable. I can't stand Vicky. From these, I like:Victoria Rose - although every Victoria I know has this middle name.
Victoria Catherine
Victoria Lily
Laurel Victoria - this is my favorite.

I do like it, and it's my daughter's middle name. It was my mother-in-law's name. I never knew her, she died young, when my husband was a child. and although there had been many girls born in his extended family, none used Victoria. So I thought it was time someone did. Since it's daughter's middle name, she has no nick-name; I think I like Vicky best.
Back to my mother-in-law...her nick-name, or "familiar name" was Victorine;the family was French-speaking. Of your combos, I like Victoria Rose, and Willow Victoria.

Well, I love it. There is literally no name that I love more.Yes, I would consider it for my own daughter. In fact, I did consider it for my own daughter. I considered it to the extent that Victoria is what I named her.My favorite nickname for it is Torrie, but I far prefer that spelling to the much more popular Tori. Torrie is what my daughter is called. The full name is beautiful, but I myself considered it too much of a mouthful to not have a nickname. I have heard of Victorias who don't have one, though. I prefer Torrie to Vicky, however, I don't hate Vicky at all, and I don't really understand the widespread hatred it inspires here on the board! The only nickname I don't like is Ria. My daughter has an online friend who is also named Victoria, but she goes by Ria. That one I don't like. All of your Victoria combos are beautiful. The one I like the most is Victoria June. I'd say Victoria Rose, but Rose is so filler these days. With Victoria as the middle name, I like Laurel Victoria the best.

Victoria Jane - ok

Laurel Victoria - I like
