A childhood girlfriend of mine was named Sasha, her twin sister was Samantha.

My boyfriend is called Sasha, so I see it as more male. I prefer the full names Alexander or Alexandra. It's also very common on little white dogs I find, my boyfriend gets good-naturedly teased about this.

Hmm it's ok. My brother's ex is called Sasha. I also know of a cat and a dog called Sasha though.

I like Sasha, particularly as a nickname for Alexander or Alexandra, though I feel it can also stand alone for a girl. It's kind of hard to match with a sibling!

I prefer it on a boy but it's ok.

Sasha's cute, but to be honest, I tend to think of it as a cat's name. I've known of several cats named Sasha, and even named one Sasha myself. Big beautiful tiger cat but mean as a snake. Would bite or scratch you as soon as look at you.
Can't think of many sister names right offhand, but one that pops into my head right away is Chanelle.
