[Opinions] Andrew, Ander, or Anders?
I love my combo Evan Andrew, but lately, I've wanted to 'mix it up a bit' by changing Andrew. Is this a good idea? I want to keep it close to Andrew, just not the same. So which?:Evan Andrew
Evan Ander -This doesn't seem quite complete to me...
Evan Anders

I really like Evan Anders - I remember coming across Anders a few years back and just loving it. It's an excellent replacement for the ever-popular Andrew, imo. Same with Ander.

I like Evan Andrew best, mainly because it sounds the best.

I lie Evan Andrew. I think Evan Ander looks cutesy and sounds incomplete. I don't mind Anders, but I think Andrew sounds best with Evan.

I really love just Evan Andrew a lot, so I wouldn't change it at all unless you wanted to make it Andrew Evan. Evan Ander and Evan Anders just don't sound as nice at all! Hmm...what do you think of one of these:Evan Andras (Andras is Welsh like Evan)
Evan Aindreas (Irish)
Evan Andrey (Russian)
Evan Aindrea (Scottish)
Evan Andrea / Andreas (Italian)Or you could try switching up Evan with something like:
Ian / Iain / Ean
Bevan
Ioan
Yoan
Eoin
Ewan
Ivan
Shane
Sean
or even Eoghan! So WDYTO these ideas? :)Image hosting by Photobucket

I know, I know, Evan Andrew is nice, but I just am feeling... A little flighty. Evan Andras -Yea, a little TOO Welsh
Evan Aindreas -Odd.
Evan Andrey -I like this, but still prefer Andrew and Anders
Evan Aindrea -Feminine
Evan Andrea / Andreas -Even more feminine.I could never change Evan... I love it far too much. But those suggestions ARE nice! I especially like Ewan and Eoghan. Thank you so much for the suggestions!

I prefer just Andrew.Evan Andrew is really terrific.
Evan Ander doesn't seem complete to me either.
Evan Anders is okay, but Anders seems like a nickname that you would use if Andrew was your little brother, as in "Hey, Anders, get over here". Did that make any sense?

Yep, makes sense.I call my sister Jayna Jayns sometimes, (of course, along with Jayna Rose and Bob) but I still love Anders! My lovely combo Evan Andrew could very well turn into Evan Anders, but I am definetly going to take everyone;s opinions into consideration. Thanks!

No problem!Erm...how do you get Bob from Jayna?

No idea. My family is wierd when it comes to nns.Ari = Aja
Braelyn = Lulu
Jayna = BobYeah, that's my parents. They just wound up calling Ari Aja, me Lulu, and Jayna Bob. They just stuck, I suppose! I agree though, it doesn't make one bit of logical sense...

I like Even Andrew most of the three. Anders seems kind of random if you're not Scandinavian. And Even Ander sounds like one word or one name to me--Evanander. :-)

ThanksI agree with the one-name opinion of Evan Ander sounding like Evanander. Thanks for pointing that out! So that narrows it down between Evan Andrew and Evan Anders. I still love Anders- I never really think about the origion of a name- unless it's REALLY obvious. Thanks for your help!
