It's alright. Not a fave, I guess because it feels a little matronly to me still. But on a younger person I think it'd be nice.

Dodie. They really do sound frowsy to me still.
Dory though... seems nifty.
I think the -thy sound is one of the appealing things about
Dorothy. I like how it's a classic name that is totally English-ized (I know Anglicized is a word but it's not the one I want right now).
I agree that
Marjorie has a similar feel.
