Former "Real World" stars Sean Duffy and Rachel Campos-Duffy had just had their eighth child.Patrick Miguel joins siblings Xavier Jack, Evita Pilar, John-Paul, Lucia-Belen, Paloma Pilar, MariaVictoria Margarita, Margarita Pilar.P.S. I don't know who these people are, but found the names interesting.

I'm assuming Pilar has familial significance in addition to the religious, but I'm not loving its being used so many times.Patrick Miguel feels pretty average to me. Evita and Paloma are gorgeous though.

Very, very Catholic.A form of Mary's name is each of the girls' names. I love Patrick Miguel, Evita Pilar, Lucia-Belen (love), Paloma Pilar (love) but find MariaVictoria Magarita and Margarita Pilar over the top.

Rachel is Latina.Hispanic Americans tend to be pretty religious. That probably also explains the Spanish names.

They were both raised Catholic. I remember Rachel talking about her Catholicism during her season, but I don't think Sean ever did. He actually partied a lot, so I think he "strayed" for a while, LOL.I feel old, because their respective seasons were YEARS ago, and now they have eight kids. :P

Her mother is Maria del Pilar, so I guess it honors her as well as the Virgin Mary. It’s a common thing to do in Rachel’s culture.

The oddest thing to me is why only some of the girls are named Pilar. I'd understand one, or all, but some?

Beautiful names. I just don't understand the repeating of Pilar and Margarita. There are so many wonderful names out there why recycle names amongst siblings.
