[Opinions] Arabella
Arabella means “yielding to prayer”. What do you think of the name personally?I actually like it, it’s grown on me in the past few days. It also reminds me of that wonderful song Arabella by the Arctic Monkeys. I think I would actually consider it."People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing all day."'*•.¸♡ Have a great day/night! ♡¸.•*' Rate my personal name list please :) https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/217493

It’s a beautiful name, very pretty. The meaning is lovely too.

I am so over -bella names; never liked them much and now they're everywhere. Arabel is better, but it's too close to 'orrible.

The name of one of my favourite characters of Anne Bishop books - Arabella Ardelia.
I like it a lot, great alternative to Annabella.

It's cool, nicer than Annabelle. I don't like Ari as a nickname though for some reason, and Bella is so overdone, maybe Ara as a nickname.

I love Arabella, it's very feminine and a beautiful meaning. I ran into 1 Arabella in my brother's school, and 1 lady named Arabelle.

Was not aware of this meaning, which is lovely. Had always thought of Ivanka Trump’s daughter Arabella Kushner, supposedly named after the supposed name of the baby JFK and Jackie O lost. It’s a solid name if a bit frilly. Just not really my style, personally.

I also thought of the Kushner child. But I'd never heard that she was named for the daughter the Kennedys lost. I'd never even heard she would have been called Arabella. Seems like an unexpected fit with Caroline, John and Patrick (the son they lost). I did just look it up, though, and that appears to be accurate. I learned something new.

I like it quite a lot. I think I may like the similar names Annabella or Araminta just a bit more. But I do like Arabella.

I think it has a stronger air to it than it's similar popular counterpart, Isabella, which is fluffy and almost sickeningly sweet. Though not my favorite of the -bella names pantheon I can't deny it does have substance and beauty.
