[Opinions] Matching sibling names
There are numerous approaches for choosing "matching" names for siblings. Here are a couple that I've encountered irl:
1. same initial letters
2. (kind of ) alphabetically, FGH for example
3. thematically - novel charactersObviously people choose the names they like, but these are generic themes that can be found in naming siblings. Do you care about matching names of a sibset? Would you choose names with the same initial letter/initials?
I've seen this a couple times and think that it can be cute if done right (when choosing different vowel combinations and name lengths for example).

I guess, I'd choose matching Names, though I wouldn't start games on initials.
I think, a single letter won't make a matching set of names.
In my opinion, most times it's rather ridiculous.
I know a family, who named their kids like John-Matthew, John-Andrew and John-David (made-up combinations, but theirs were similar).I'd go with:
approximately the same length
approximately the same popularity
the same stylefor instance: Theodore and Victoria, Theresa and Rebecca, Jonathan and David, ...

I don't like sibs with the same initials
I wouldn't bother with alphabetically on purpose, just pick what I likedI think matching the same style is important

I’ve thought of some themes, and would actually consider using them, like within a certain popularity or name meaning patterns (Narine “fire” and Mai “water”, you get the idea) but sibling names really don’t have to match.
