Which do you prefer - Beatrice or Beatrix?

I love Beatrix in theory. For a long time I loved the idea of Beatrix called "Bix", after a character in a favourite childhood story. I remember back in the old days when people thought it meant "bringer of happiness" or something like that, and I always thought that was such a nice meaning. The updated meaning is great too, though.
Ever since Kill Bill though, Beatrix has taken on an air of trying too hard to be edgy and cool, which kinda deflates my balloon. Don't get me wrong, I loved those movies, but now it just screams "I love Tarantino" a little too loudly to me. Beatrice on the other hand doesn't have as much to prove, so it's become more interesting to me. Beatrix is sort of hyperactive and pointy and icy where Beatrice is calm and round and warm. Beatrice seems trustworthy, while Beatrix is more wild. I love the nicknames Bea, Beattie, Trixie, Bee, all the options.
Both names are almost unheard of where I'm from. I've never met either one in my life, or heard of anyone with any relatives named this. So either option would be very refreshing. But I'm definitely on team Beatrice nowadays.
When I was enamored with Beatrix, I think my combos were something like Beatrix Daisy, Beatrix Violet, and Beatrix Norah, and then later Beatrix Fern. I've never really played around with Beatrice although I now prefer it!

I prefer by Beatrix - it’s has more spunk. Beatrice isn’t bad though. The “beat-rice” thing is kinda funny though.
My first impression with Beatrice was about 2 years ago with Paul McCartney’s daughter, Beatrice Millie, which I actually think is really classy and cute, but I thought the sound was kind of ugly with just Beatrice, because I instinctively pronounced it like “bee-TRIS”. It’s a fine name, universal, and posh but friendly. Beatrix, I just always thought was cool. Trix or Trixie is cute, and you still get the adorable nickname Bea or Bee!
For Beatrice I get a girl who’s very studious, maybe a bit shy, but still self-assured and a humanitarian. For Beatrix, I get the image of an adventurous, witty, and bold. Quite outspoken.
Beatrix Luna is my go-to and maybe Beatrice Mary for Beatrice, boring I know, but the sound is good!

Beatrice: More reserved, quiet, kind, sweet, soft, floral, loves animals, and nature. She likes drawing, writing, and anything creative and crafty.
In my mind Beatrix is 50s/60s film star or bubbly nurse, Beatrice is Victorian floral or cottagecore vibes.

I love both. I'm considering Beatrice as a name for one of my characters. It sounds a bit old fashioned, but it's an 'oldie but goldie'. Beatrix is a bit weird but I still like it. It sounds modern-ish. I think of Beatrix Potter (in a good way) so that's an added bonus. Both weird names but good ones.

I really dislike Beatrix, and don't care for Beatrice.
I don't like the "tricks" sound in Beatrix. I've always felt like it was abrasive and cutesy, even when I was a kid.
Beatrice seems sort of smug and staid to me, neither pretty nor interesting. Like Bernice.

I like them both, but prefer Beatrix; the “x” sound is so wonderful and unique

I really do like them the same but tend to have a slight preference, & being swayed back and forth depending on my mood. Lately I've been feeling more like Beatrix.
