[Opinions] Clemence
Clemence is resurfacing as a female name I love. I'm referring to the medieval English feminine form of Clement (one of my favorite male names) that's pronounced how it looks (i.e., not the French Clémence), for the record. What do you think? I admire its gentle grace and love the nickname Clem. Some combos:Clemence Irene (my favorite)
Clemence Aurelia
Clemence Julia
Clemence Leonora
Clemence Dorothy / Dorothea
Clemence Diana
Clemence Olga
Clemence Virginia
Clemence Eugenia
Clemence Eudora
Clemence Cordelia
Clemence Regina
Clemence Renata
Clemence Ulrika
Clemence Veronica
Clemence Georgina
Clemence Ingrid
Clemence Viola
Clemence Aurora
Clemence Beata
Clemence Natalia
Clemence Ianthe
Clemence Oenone
Clemence Tatiana
Clemence Lillian
Clemence Jocosa
Clemence Lydia
Clemence Eliza

You know, I would have always considered that a masculine name because of Clement XD but I quite like it! Clem is an eternally sweet sound that I will always love
I like Clemence Eudora, Clemence Veronica, Clemence Natalia, and Clemence Lillian a lot! I might also suggest
Clemence Jocasta
Clemence Pomeline
Clemence Isidora

I think it's graceful and sweet. I'm also very fond of Clemency and Clementine.

I've always liked Clemency as a virtue name; Clemence not so much. Clemence Dane was a pen name, taken from the London church of St Clement Danes, which I find strange.

I don't like it at all. It sounds more like a word for something I can't quite put my finger on, rather than a person's name. Clem is even worse. I don't find Clem appealing at all, and always brings to mind Clement "Clem" from BTVS. Nice character, but he certainly wasn't known for his looks. 😂😂
Clem also makes me think of phlegm and clams, which naturally adds to it's unattractiveness.I like Aurelia (biased though), Julia, Diana, Veronica, Ingrid, Natalia, Lydia (very biased. 😁) & Eliza

I prefer Clementine, but Clemence is nice too. Gentler, more mellow. Clem is very fetching indeed.I really like your Clemence Julia, Clemence Ianthe, and Clemence Jocosa (how mediaeval!). I raise for your consideration:Clemence Leila
Clemence Magdalen
Clemence Merope
Clemence Philomel
Clemence Rosemary
Clemence Verona (in lieu of Veronica?)
Clemence Vienna
