Annie and Atlanta adopted a son five years ago. He has recently turned eight. Since he was not fond of his first name and associated it with his less-than-stellar early childhood, they have allowed him to pick a new name, and added a Faroese and Mongolian name to honour their heritage. Adélie - though she is off doing her PhD in coral reef conservation - is very fond of her new adopted brother.
Zimri met and fell in love with an architect, the daughter of a movie score composer and a playwright, who has a daughter and son from previous relationships. The children get on well enough with their stepfather.
Ari and Lakshmi welcome another daughter. The little girl joins siblings Turing and Lovelace. The pregnancy was tough on Lakshmi - she was bedbound, though she has since recovered. She spent her entire pregnancy in bed, watching Poldark and Bollywood movies, which is reflected in her daughter's name.
Mina and Kofi got married, and have welcomed a daughter. They have relocated to Accra, where Kofi's parents come from, and where he is US ambassador to Ghana. The little girl is a huge Star Wars fan, and tells her parents she will one days build droids.
Leo and Evie have welcomed one more son. Evie has retired from her dancing career, and now hosts the US edition of Strictly Come Dancing. Leo, on the other hand, has mostly abandoned his music career to take care of his children - though he still gives the occasional concert.
