1. What names are you thinking of most today? For boys, I often think about Drew, Milo, Jude, and Reece. For girls, I like Erin, Berit, Julia, Sophie, Tierney, Lily, and Molly.
2. Do you think its ok to have themed middle names in a sibset if you like all the names? It depends on what you consider to be themed. If, by themed, you mean names like Faith, Grace, Joy, and Mercy, then no. If, by themed, you mean names that start with the same letter, then I wouldn't mind it so bad, as long as it doesn't become a "requirement" for future kids.
3. Do you think its ok to name a child after a book/movie character if its not REALLY obvious, and you were passionate about the book/movie? Sure. I think that's totally fine.
4. Do you think in about 8 years time it'll be ok to call a boy Shiloh? I think it's okay now...I personally prefer it on a girl, but It's not terrible for a boy.
5. How do you find most of the names you put on your list, or have you just come across them over the years? I'm not sure I "find" names. I just think about them a lot, and enjoy learning about them!
6. How long have you had a name list? I have been thinking about and collecting names since I was about 6 or 7 years old.
7. Do you write fiction/film scripts etc? No.
8. Whats your least favourite name atm? I can't pick just one. Here are some I hate: Ethan, Brittany, Travis, Derek, Amber, Kevin, Nicole, Lynn, Scott.
9. Whats the first combo that comes into your head right now? Cara (CARE-ah) Madeline (MAD-eh-line).
10. Do you think pets should have pet names (e.g. Fluffy) or people names or do you not really care? I ADORE it when pets have human names. And not the typical human pet names like Molly, Max, Maggie, etc, but I love it when pets are named things like Lawrence, Simon, Katherine, Theresa, etc.
11. Whats the oddest combo (in your opinion) that you've ever liked? Brooklyn Jada. It's totally not my kind of name.
12. Do you go through phases with your names, or do you tend to stick with most of them? Some names, I definitely have phases with. Others, I have loved for a long time. I've always loved the name Andrew / Drew for a boy.
13. If you're planning on having children, how many would you want? Two or three. Ideally, I would have twins (one of each) and another daughter.
14. Is there one name you'd really like to use, but feel like you can't for some reason or other? If so, what name and why. I would love to use Molly, but it is my best friend's name.
15. Do you like nature/word names or think they're a bit too weird and non-namey? For me, it totally depends on the name. I don't really pick names based on what categories they fall into...just read my PNL - it is completely random!
