Athena
I heard this yesterday on a little girl and her sister's name was Elena. What are your opinions on Athena? Do you think it's useable for someone without Greek heritage? Any combo suggestions?

I adore Athena. I've also heard Athena being Athene. I love both, really. I do think it is quite connected to Greek mythology, but never before have I considered it for only someone with at least a bit of Greek heritage. It is gorgeous.Athena Marisol

I like Athena a lot and like it even better paired with Elena. Do the parents have a Greek background?I think Athena is definitely usable for any background.

I'm not sure, I don't know them personally. I just overheard them being called :)

I have a great aunt named Athena who is Greek. It is pretty, but I prefer Althea.

I adore Athena! I think it's got a great history and I love the connection to wisdom and knowledge. I don't have any Greek heritage and I wouldn't have a problem with using it.

I love a lot of Greek mythology names, but I really dislike Athena. It feels tacky to me, like Zeus or Apollo.

I know two Athenas in the fourth grade, and the only Greek people I can think of in the area are a tv weatherman and his family. The nn of one is Tina. I think it's usable.
