Gerda
I love the Hans Christian Andersen story The Snow Queen, and so I'm really starting to like the name Gerda. What do you think? What other names do you think it works with? I kind of like Beatrix Gerda, but I'm not sure.

I know a Gerda, she's originally from Germany. Not a bad name.

I ind Gerda very frumpy and unattractive, to tell the truth.

It's nms, but has good associations because of a friend of mine. I'd be ok w/ seing it on someone else's child (esp. if it was going to be that or 1 of the currently overused names). Can see if you like it paired w/ any of these:

disclaimer: I work in a hospitalsounds too much like GERD too me. I would probably go with a name like Snejana or Eira or Neiva that have some association with snow and remind you of that charactor. However, if you don't have the GERD association, maybe you would just go with Gerda!
