Sibset opinions, Japanese mother with Japanese middle names
A real family with six children; the parents are American but the dad is in the military and was sent to Europe, so all the kids were born in France. They live in Naples now. Since the mom is full Japanese-American, the six were given two middle names, one Japanese. LN: (three syllables, starts with D, ends with eee sound)
DS: Adrien Hayato Joseph, 17
DD: Cateline Keiko Maria Magdalena, 15
DD: Elisabeth Yukiko Emmanuelle, 12
DS: Daniel Stephane (adopted), 12
DS: Robert Kazuo Thomas, 9
DD: Liliane Sayuri Rose, 7Robert, Joseph, and Thomas are honoring grandfathers and a great-uncle, while Cateline was chosen because a grandmother is Cathleen and an aunt is Katherine. Liliane is sometimes Lili, and Robert is usually Robbie, apparently partially because Cateline said when he was born, "you can't name a baby Robert!"What do you think? I like them, and even the meanings of all the names fit them, though they were of course babies when the birth certificates were filled out.

I really like the name Kazuo. I've seen it on some Japanese baseball players that have come to play in America (where I'm from). Lovely!Liliane and Adrien are also very nice names.

Adrien Hayato Joseph is alright. I prefer the Adrien spelling on a girl but if it's French it's more normal. I'd want to replace Joseph though.
Cateline Kaiko Maria Magdalena- Okay, I like all the names, but i don't like the whole kk/mm thing with the sounds. And I think it would have been better if they had used just Maria or just Magdalena instead of Maria Magdalena.
Elisabeth Yukiku is good, and Yukiko Emmanuelle is good, but I don't like Elisabeth and Emmanuelle in the same combo.
Daniel Stephane breaks the pattern by being adopted, but I like Stephane.
Robert Kazuo Thomas is good, but I might prefer it with Thomas and Robert switched around. I have to agree with Cateline on the Robert thing :P
I really like Liliane Sayuri Rose.
All in all, I like the sibset :) Nice culture blending.

Wow... that is definitely a multicultural family! All their names are fantastic. I've never seen Cateline before; I like it, since I like Catalina and most other forms of Catherine. I hope all the moving around hasn't been too hard on the kids. My fiance is joining the Air Force, so we're going to be doing a lot of moving around very soon. I'm nervous about it, I can only imagine what it must be like for a child.
