KOZ-ih-muhI want to pronounce it "KOZ-ih-muh".One of the clones on Orphan Black is named Cosima, but pronounced "kuh-SEE-muh". For a while I thought her name was Qasima.I love it, actually. Either pronunciation. It's definitely usable - why not?

I pronounce it KOZ-ih-ma. I think it's usable in the U.S. but people will probably pronounce it in various different ways. There was a Cosima Caroline Heather in the BAs I recently posted, which I thought was an interesting combo.

Prior to Orphan Black I was saying it KOH-sih-mah, but after watching Orphan Black I now say it kuh-SEE-mah, like they do on the show, and I find I like it better that way anyway. I do think it's usable in the US, though I'm sure it'll get all kinda of mispronunciations. Not that "normal" names don't get those too though tbh
