Even if the baby is named Albert, there's a president of using a middle name as the regnal name. (Is that a word? George IV and Edward VII were Prince Albert. Queen Victoria's fn was Alexandrina.) As long as a middle name would also be a good name, the kid will be fine.
But then, there's also Prince Albert of Monaco. Maybe they wouldn't take that into consideration. Who knows.

Although there's definitely a precedent for a British monarch to use a middle name upon ascending to the throne, I'm of the opinion that this is very unlikely to happen in this day and age. In this age of mass media, when many millions more people become familiar with the faces of the royal family than in past times, and are able to see and hear them speak, and when they, along with all other celebrities, can become as familiar as a friend or family member, I don't think it will fly to say, "Call me William no more, I'm now King Arthur."
