Re: opinions on these girls names long list plz answer
Wow, that is a long list! I didn't get through all of it. I don't have particularly strong opinions on some of them. Alexa - seems slightly trashy to me.
Alexandra - beautiful name, but I was so overwhelmed with Alex's (male and female) growing up that it feels dull.
Alexia - Is a learning disability.
Angelina - Too frilly for me.
Angelica - Too frilly and I find the sentiment a little saccharine.
Anika - pretty
Arian(n)a - pretty
Ariane - A bit too similar to the word Aryan perhaps, unless you have the heritage to back that up.
Ariel(le)- I prefer the Arielle spelling, but I prefer Ariella as a whole.
Aurora - nice enough name, but I find it difficult to say the repeated R's.
Beatrice - One of my favourites, it's soft and sweet, but still has such a strong feel
Bianca - okay, no strong feelings one way or the other.
Bryony - Pretty.
Camilla - Lovely, I don't know why this doesn't get more love.
Camille - I don't really like the English pronunciation of this, it sounds like someone doesn't know how to say Chamomile. Of course it's masculine in French.
Caroline - Pretty.
Charlotte - I can never get past the "harlot" part.
Cordelia - Lovely, but a bit dramatic for my taste.
Cressida - Too frilly, and sounds like toothpaste.
Danielle - nice, a bit dated.
Delphine - very nice.
Diana - Pretty and underused.
Dominique - too masculine to me.
Elena - Beautiful, I love that it's familiar but still feels slightly exotic.
Elizabeth - a beautiful classic, can't go wrong.
Emily - nice.
Emilia - Very pretty, this is my favourite version of Amelia.
Emma - lovely! A beautiful classic name.
Eugenie - I really like this, but feel I might be alone in that.
Gemma - Very nice, this is pretty unheard of in Canada so it's quite interesting among all the Emma's.
Genevieve
Georgia
Grace - nice enough name, but a snoozefest.
Hazel - Love it.
Isabel(le)- prefer the simplicity of Isabel which is just beautiful.
Isabella - overly frilly.
Jacqueline - Nice, but I dislike all the nicknames.
Jade - trashy.
Jasmine - Yasmine is much nicer.
Jemma - This spelling looks wrong.
Jennifer - nice, slightly dated, but it would be nice to see on a little one.
Joanna - nice.
Josephine - Beautiful.
Julia - Beautiful and classic.
Julian(n)a - too frilly.
Juliet(te)- A little loaded, but beautiful.
Justine - dated, and I've never really seen the appeal.
Kate - insubstantial as a full name.
Lara - meh
Larissa - I like it if pronounced lah-REES-ah, not so much lah-RISS-ah
Leah - beautiful and simple.
