LOVE WANDA. So quirky. I think it could for sure be used today, but you'd need the right attitude. You can't call a girl Wanda and act like her name is Sophia. Just won't work.
Wanda Violet isn't bad, I like the "want a violet" thing actually.
For a "safer" middle name, I'd suggest:
Wanda Zoe
Wanda Chloe
Wanda Scarlett (Scarlet Witch shoutout)
Wanda Caroline
Wanda Lucy
Wanda Catherine
Wanda Alice
Wanda Eleanor
Wanda Willow !!!? YEAH
