two combos
What do you think of the boy combo Christian Elijah? And what do you think of the girl combo Summer Claire?

I don't really care for Christian Elijah. It's just not my style. Summer Claire seems a bit dated, and it sounds a bit like "some eclair" to me. :/

They are perfectly nice while not being anything out of the ordinary.I prefer Claire Summer slightly.

They're nice combos. I think Summer Claire flows especially well. BTW, my nephew is Christian Alexander.

Christian Elijah is nice, but I think Elijah Christian flows even better. Summer Claire is alright. I love the name Summer and have been thinking about it a lot lately. I'm just not a big fan of Claire.

I like Summer Claire more than Christian Elijah. Summer is a light and airy name, but still recognizable and a standard in the nature-name theme. Plus, it's almost retro, to the 80s and 90s, so it's a spunky choice for today. Claire is a filler middle, yes... but it is also quite lovely. This name makes me think of the Brat Pack movies from the 80s honestly. I love it. Christian Elijah is a solid combo, but I am not fond of the name Christian. In many languages, in which catholicism was historcally dominant, Christian is another way to say "person". Plus, it puts a very specific religious belief on a child. I much prefer using names that reference great figures in a religion (like Elijah) than using the name of the religion. I only say this because my brother in Christian Daniel, and he is an athiest and absolutely hates his name. From your screen name, I gather that Christianity is important to you (me too, I am a Pastor)... so I encourage you to look for a name that encompasses what you want to pass down to your child... not a name that places expectations on him. Yes, Elijah, the great prophet, but the Prophet most pivotal to the Christian faith would be Isaiah. Joshua was a great figure in the Old Testament and Joshua is also a variation of the name Jesus. So, an alternative would be Joshua Isaiah for you. (I don't normally answer posts this way... but your SN was influential).
