Cassie?
Thoughts on Cassie? Do you like Cassie on its own or should it be short for something? And if so which full name? Combo ideas?

I like it as a nickname for Cassandra. On its own, it just feels incomplete.

Prefer Cassie as a nickname to something like Cassandra, Cassia, Cassiopeia

It can be short for Casseopia, Cassandra, or Cassidy.

Definitely a short. For Cassandra, which I hate, or maybe Lucasta, which I love.

I used to like Cassie a lot as a kid. There's something sweet and approachable about it, though it's not a very strong name. I would always assume a Cassie was a Cassandra. I don't think it could stand on its own very well.

Not a huge fan of Cassie; it's too country-sounding cow-name, like Daisy or Bluebell. If it were to be used I would use it as a nn for Cassia although it could be used on it's own.On a tangent; I love Cassidy "Cass" for a boy.

Never liked it, because it sounds for some reason like a big, fat, slovenly girl and like the word gassy. Much prefer Casey.
