Nicky Hilton and her husband James Rothschild welcomed a second daughter Teddy Marilyn she joins her older sister Lily Grace Victoria. Bit boring, I would probably have preferred Theodora Marilyn with Lily

Not a fan of Teddy on a girl.I'm guessing Marilyn is honoring since Nicky and Paris' paternal grandmother was named Marilyn.

Teddy for a girl?!! Hideous! Really doesn't fit with an older sister named Lily Grace either.

I kind of like it. They're cute combos. I do prefer Theodora, but I see the appeal of Teddy. What does bother me is that Lily has two middle names, but Teddy only has one.

It seems that her first name is actually Lily-Grace, so they each have only one middle name.

Teddy for a boy is also sometimes used for names like Edward, Edwin, and Frederick. They could also have used a feminine version of one of those, although Lily is the stumper there. Lily is my daughter's middle name, but I'd never have used Theodora and Lily for siblings. They're almost as different in style as Teddy and Lily are, apart from being classics. Theodora is strong, long, fancy and kind of unexpected. Lily is sweet, pretty and common.I could see Lily and Tabitha as siblings, though. Tibby/Tabby and Teddy are stylistically similar. Or Lily and Judith, nn Judy.

I like Teddy as a *nickname* for a girl, but don’t think it should stand alone as a full name. Theodora would have been a really good option for a more formal name.

I don't like Teddy at all, let alone for a girl. I agree that Theodora Marilyn would sound better. Or maybe Thea Marilyn. Lily Grace Victoria is decent but boring.

Teddy and Marilyn don't really go together, but I kind of like Teddy for a girl. Lily Grace Victoria is made of snooze.

Lily Grace is such a cliche, even tacking Victoria onto it does nothing but add padding.Teddy is cheap sounding, like some gangster's moll with her long cigarette and her peroxide hair.Together Teddy and Lily sound like old-time showgirls, the kind that dabble in prostitution.

Teddy and Lily don't fit to me... Teddy is so much different then Lily because it seems like more of a nickname and Lily is a perfectly accepted common name. I could have seen Daisy or Luna, something like that with Lily.

I think Theodora with the NN Teddy, would have been so much prettier. Just the name Teddy for a girl is strange to me.
