Quick response
Agatha - I waffle on this. I see a beautiful woman in the 1920s, but I also see an overweight woman (Martha Grimes' mysteries featuring Melrose Plant & Richard Jury) who is incredibly annoying. The "ag" part bothers me. I far prefer it to Agnes, though.Gisela / Gisella - my husband has a cousin named Giselle. I remember the reaction to her name, people thought it was "strange." I think it's pretty> Gisela is a bit too fancy to me, I like Giselle better.Maren - It's cute, but it's too generic in the sea of M names. (I have discovered just how popular M names are for girls - my daughter is one of four in her class)
Meike - Cute, sweet
Veronika - I love this spelling. It has a strong, regal feeling to it. Hudson - 20 years ago this would have been a stand-out name. Now? It's just surname trendy.
I have more to give! More words! More joke! MORE BANANAS! - Gerald
