Jairus is jy-rus.
Japheth was one of Noah's sons in the Bible, I like the sound of it.
I have the same issue with Abel, the whole being murdered thing! I do still like the name though.
I'm the opposite about Boaz, I love the Biblical story of Boaz and Ruth.
Sonny seems friendly to me.
Billy is ok, but I don't think I'd ever use it. It was a name DH suggested last night, as a reference to Billy Graham. I like it for that reason, but seems a bit "normal" next to our other kids more unusual names.
