Raquel
What do you think of the name Raquel? Do you think it’s better than Rachel? What would you pair it with?I find Raquel very sexy and cool. Beautiful name. Better than Rachel? Not sure. Raquel Imogen, Raquel Adriana, or Raquel June would be great.

I like it. It's glamorous, with a little bit of a hard glittery edge to it. I like it better as a mn. Rachel is nice but quite ordinary, but Raquel is a standout.Julissa RaquelCarmen RaquelSuzanne Raquel

I do like Raquel more than Rachael (which is my preferred spelling). I think it's familiar enough that even in Anglophone societies it won't be misspelled (though I've seen Racquel before, which just looks wrong to me - even though I prefer Rachael to Rachel). Rocki is a cute nickname.Raquel Adrienne

It sounds nasally, and arrogant. A total rich kid name. but I do like the flow of it and would probably like it if the spelling was different.

I didn't like it at first, but now it sounds very hip and fashionable. I prefer Rachelle, but not Rachel (said as RAY-chul).Raquel Adeline

Sorry I think it's pretty ugly, I don't find anything attractive about it.
Definitely prefer Rachel and the 'ray' pronunciation.
