What are some male Wild West names you can think of?
Whether you visualize an outlaw, cowboy, sheriff, or something else. Here's what I've came up with:Colt
Cash
Ransom
Rowdy"You'll find me here like the day you left me alone, any old time, you wanna come back home..."
Jimmie Rodgers "Any Old Time" (1929)

Similar to what clevelandkentevans said, if you want accuracy, common names are best. If you're just looking for the aesthetic, I like Colt on your list. I also like Willis, Mack, Jesse, Roscoe, Russell, Cyrus, Marshall, Ambrose, Orville, Boyd, Bryant, and Dell, all of which were in the top 500 in 1880, the first year that such was recorded.

clevelandkentevans gave good information. You could also look up the names of Rodeo winners for inspiration
https://prorodeo.com/prorodeo/cowboys/world-champions-historical/ & https://prorodeo.com/standings*Nicknames I think of are Chick, Lefty, Rocky, Tink, LittleJoe, Curley. Also nicknames based on the surname (e.g. White "Whitey" or Dobrée "Dobber").
* Stetson, Paden, Brushton, Slade, Bodie, Tee/T, Fenton, Austin, Judd, Rocker, Jayco, Kaycee, Pascal, Sage, Ryder, Statler, Cash, Houston, Riggin, Ky, Creek, Hayes, Jestyn, JB, TJ, Canyon, Chance, Coy, Kase, Laramie, Declan, Dalton, Dakota, Bridger, Gus, JC, Bubba, Cutter, Chay

Well, the names men actually had in the Wild West are not necessarily the same thing as the names that fictional Wild West men have been given over the last century. I really don't think any of the names you list above were actually at all common in the United States in the period between 1865 and 1900, which is when most people would set the "Wild West". The real Western lawman whose name has become stereotypical for a "Wild West" character is Wyatt Earp. Wyatt would actually have been an unusual given name during his day -- his two brothers, Virgil and Morgan, had names which would have been more common, especially Virgil, but I don't think most people in 2023 would ever think of Virgil as a "cowboy" name, though that's what it was -- and of course today Morgan is as likely to be female as male.If you look at Wikipedia's list of Wild West lawmen, few of them actually had given names which would sound stereoytpically "Wild West" to most people today. Besides Wyatt I think the most "Wild West" sounding one is Dallas, though perhaps some might find Paden, Seth, and Porter a bit cowboyish. Even the nicknames given on the list of WIld West lawmen don't sound particularly "Wild West" today, except perhaps for Heck and Keno. I don't think Skinny, Cap, Bud, Buckey, and Longhair are nicknames most people in 2023 would associate with Wild West lawmen, but those are the sort of nicknames they actually had. :)https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Old_West_lawmen
