In my personal case is:
Nicknames that I both like using as full names and nicknames: Alex (for Alexia or Alexis), Cassie (for Cassidy), Gracie (for Grace), Kris (for Kristen), Tess (for Tessa)
Nicknames that I like nicknames themselves, but not interested in their full names: Callie (I'm not intereated in Caroline), Libby (I'm not interested in Elizabeth), Lizzie (I'm not interested in Elizabeth), Katie (I'm not interested in Katherine)
Nicknames that I like using as nicknames, but not full names: Ash (for Ashley or Ashlyn), Dani (for Danica or Danielle), Jess (for Jessamine or Jessica), Lexi (for Alexia or Alexis), Maddie (for Madeleine)
