Vintage-styled internet personality Jessica Kellgren-Fozard and her partner Claudia recently had twin girls. Today they revealed their names as Augusta & Theodora. They join big brother Rupert.Apparently, Rupert was the one who picked out Augusta's name. I think they're beautiful names, and they all suit each other really well. Rupert, Augusta & Theodora is pretty heavy set, but it works. What do you think?

I think Rupert, Augusta and Theodora sound nice together. Having said that, I'd prefer Augustina to Augusta. I think Gussie would be kind of cute for a nickname for Augusta but I think that Aggie is also kind of cute and would also work. I don't mind Teddie for Theodora but I feel like Thea and Dora would be used. Gussie and Teddie? Aggie and Teddie? Augie and Teddie?

Both names feel like a breath of fresh air, I like them. I've been feeling a little reticent on Rupert, but it could grow on me again. Overall, the sibset is neat and sophisticated.
I've been waiting for them to announce the twin's names. I like Augusta and Theodora though my personal preference leans towards Feodora.
A handsome, classical set. As expected from such classy parents ;).Admittedly Augusta is not my favorite, it still feels a bit dusty and matronly, but I don't hate it.I've always imagined a Rupert as the youngest child though.
I’ve always loved the name Augusta, even though I typically don’t like the “Gus” sound. I think the sibset works really well together and aligns well with Jessica and Claudia’s interests and Jessica’s vintage style and interest in history. I really wouldn’t be surprised if Rupert picked Augusta from a list of names they gave him that they were considering, and Rupert maybe chose Augusta from them because it reminded him of Caesar Augustus. This next thing is not at all meant as speculation, but more as a possible explanation: Jessica has ADHD, which tends to be hereditary and causes pretty intense hyperfixations. If it does turn out that Rupert is neurodivergent, a genuine obsession with Roman history at that young of an age would make complete sense.
Oh my gosh I adore them! I wonder if they will use nicknames? Maybe Gus & Theo? Funnily my cat is named Augusta and my best friend has a Great Pyrenees named TheodoraTeddy”…
If it had been at least slightly tweaked to Augustine it would have been more bearable
Disappointed. Rupert is handsome, Theodora is pretty, Augusta is 🤮 remembering that my older sister had wanted to name me as well when she was Rupert's age: if she had gotten her wish I would have been named Chandelier or Pocahontas....I remember several months or a year ago when they named the new dog. Rupert had named the dog as well but it had been a selection of pre-approved names he could pick from. I imagine that's exactly what happened here too and Rupert just got to pick from a selection Jessica and Claudia had already approved of.

Yeah, I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about their story about how Rupert was insistent on Augusta/Augustus because he loves history.... isn't he like 4?? But maybe he is a prodigy, I don't know. They probably did give him picture books about Roman history.
I'm incredibly skeptical of a 4-year-old independently arriving to Augusta / Augustus as gendered options because of a love of history 😅 they wouldn't let him pick the dog name on his own, why would they let him name the baby on his own? The kid seems smart but he's not that clever. It has flavors of that meme /that goes: Everyone dies someday. Everyone. Even the wolves. But not books. Not words. Words don't die. - my son who is 3 and a lot smarter than me Oh f**k off Rebecca he did not say that😆🤣
Love it :D
Gorgeous!
