WDYT of Jack?
I dispise this name. Don't get me wrong, I like some English names, but this name is not very pleasing to me. It is one syslabal for one, and it sounds to casual, and three it has no nicknames. Also, Jack can be a nickname, outside of a legal name as well.

It's ok, but I'm surprised it took off as fast as it didn't. I don't think it's *that* great. I know so many young kids with this name. Jack and Sophia/Sophie have been the most common names chosen in my circles.

UghI personally find it unattractive sound and look. Not to mention is so popular on this board I am really getting sick of it.

I adore Jack and right now it's my second favorite boys name. I think it's cute, spunky, stylish, attractive, and smart.

I too thought it as more of a nickname when I first heard it but now I like it on it's own. I also like it as a nickname for John, Jackson or even Jonathan. Jack Nathaniel is my favorite combo.I'm sorry you don't like it but there are hundreds of other boys names out there that are lovely as well. For instance I really like Shawn, Alexander, James, Daniel and David which seem to be some of your favorites.Laurie :)
