King Walter was completely devestated at the death of his mother Dowager

Walter continues to find love with his sister in-law
Eleonore. He keeps her husband out and away although he has settled into a fair routine and does not cause much trouble any more.
Walter continues to educate his son
Fritzi who he greatly adores and spends more time with
