We’d like to introduce Roman Kenji. We decided we wanted to adopt after our daughter Sophia was born. We knew that we wanted to go with international adoption and Japan seemed like an obvious choice, as it was our honeymoon vacation spot and we loved it. We didn’t expect to have a baby so soon with Sophia still being under 2 but we knew as soon as we saw his picture that this was “our” baby. Roman was born 6 months ago in Japan, then named Kenji Ryo. Our family couldn’t be happier with him. Lucy and Grace have already become little mothers, cooing over him and the boys can’t wait until he’ll be able play with them. Sophia is happy with a little playmate, but I think Roman might be a little intimidated by her at times. But most of the time, he giggles and laughs at her antics.
