[Opinions] Sophie
WDYTO Sophie? Do you think its classic and timeless or overused? Could you see a little kid and an old lady with this name? I love it, and its one of the names I've never stopped liking. What mns would go well with it?

Sophie is really popular right now. You can't throw a rock in the Midwest without hitting a Sophie. It's a wonderful name, i adore it, but would never personally use it because i'd call my daughter and about 15 little girls would turn around.

Sophie is lovely, but it sounds a bit cutesy to me. I'd prefer it as a nn to Sophia, which I absolutely love btw (and I would name my child that, if it wasn't my cousin's name!).As for middle names, what aboutSophie Ariana
Sophie Sinéad
Sophie Leandra
Sophie Leonie
Sophie Amelia / Amalia
Sophie Rebecca
Sophie Elise
Sophie Giuliana / Juliana
Sophie Maren
Sophie Joanne
Sophie Alina

ok I know two Sophie's. One is a goth, the other is a little girl who is really cute :)
I love the name, and I think it would suit all age groups. I really dislike Sophia though.
My favourite combo is Nasrin Sophie, but since you want Sophie as the fn:Sophie June
Sophie Mae
Sophie Eloise
Sophie Brielle
Sophie Gabrielle
Sophie Victoria
Sophie Rose
Sophie Grace
Sophie Alexandra
Sophie Luciana
Sophie Jade
Sophie Michelle
Sophie Rochelle
Sophie Juliet
Sophie Catherine
Sophie MoniqueI think it goes well with most names, so just experiment with the names you like :)

I love the meaning of Sophie, but it has always seemed a little frilly to me. I can't really imagine a girl named Sophie growing up to be president.

I like it as a nn for Sophia, but Sophia seems so popular right now.

Sophie is nice. It does remind me of soapy (can't help it) but I think it's timeless, perhaps a little overused at this point. I do prefer the more popular Sophia/Sofia.

It is popular and feels a bit bland for me. I also don't think it will age well at all--it's nicknamey and cutesy. I absolutely LOVE Sophia, though, and Sophie is an adorable nickname.

I love the name Sophie. As far as middle names, I am no help, but I do think it would age well.
