[Opinions] Isobel, Catherine, and Sophia (questions)
What do you think of when you see this sibling set?
Isobel, Catherine, and Sophia.Do you think that these names fit well together? Would these names be good names for sisters in the 1700's/1800's?Would "Marie/Maria" work better than "Sophia" in this sibling set?

What do you think of when you see this sibling set?
I really like it.Do you think that these names fit well together? Would these names be good names for sisters in the 1700's/1800's?
I'm iffy on Isobel. Isabel (or Isabella), Catherine and Sophia would be better. (Though, this page http://www.galbithink.org/names/ncumb.txt has Isobell a few times and that's for Durham.Northumberland)Would "Marie/Maria" work better than "Sophia" in this sibling set?
I think equally as good, though perhaps not so much Marie (and Maria would be mah-RYE-ah rather than Mah-REE-ah then). Isobel, Catherine and Mary would also be nice (or Isabel, Catherine and Mary/Isabella, Catherine and Mary).

all are overdone and trendy at the moment.
don't really like Marie/Maria... Elizabeth maybe? or Susana? or Margaret or Ruth?

Thanks for the suggestions.
My favorite "Elizabeth" sibling set is:
Katherine, Elizabeth, and Audrey.
Margaret and Ruth aren't my style, though.
Susana is a nice name. I'll think about sibling sets for "Susana" sometime.

I love Maria, so that would be my choice.

I don't think of anything in particular, I just think the set sounds lovely. The names fit together nicely imo. I wouldn't change Sophia to Marie/Maria.

Isobel, Catherine, and Sophia are stunning together. Maria could fit, too.

I think it's a very nice sibling set. And it would fit in with that time period as well as it would right now.

Sophia works better than Maria or Marie. They go very well together!

I like all the names. They are beautiful.

I think Isabelle, Catherine & Sophie would work better simply b/c of the time period and the fact that the orgins are different. Isobel is largely Gaelic. Or Isobel, Catriona, & Maura.

Thanks for the comment about the different origins. I'll consider that.

You're welcome. Modern day tho those three sound wonderful together.

I think Maria would work better, but mostly because I don't like the name Sophia, though it is better than Sophie

I'd think the parents have excellent taste, though I do prefer the spelling Isabel or Isabelle.I prefer Sophia in the sibset, but Marie works too. Maria seems a bit out of place to me.
