I'm really liking Jordan for a girl lately. I know it is kind of trendy, but I don't mind semi-trendy names. Its only when names become completely overused that I nix them.
Anyway, it sounds kind of spunky and cool for a girl, and I like unisex names. But I would want a more feminine MN to balance out the combo, preferably three syllables. Any ideas?

I'm also loving this name for a girl, but with the Jordyn spelling. Even though adding y's to names is more on the trendy side! Here are a few suggestions:

Truthfully, I don't really think it is all that trendy unless you count it under the broad "boys names on girls" heading, and even there, it has a history of use (see: The Great Gatsby, 1925). That being said, at work when I see Jordan on a list of student's names, I usually default to boy, but I agree with its spunkiness on a girl.

I know a girl Jordan. Her mom's name is Sherry which they honored but used Cherie instead. So Jordan Cherie (with a soft Sh sound).
