WDYT of Laurence for a boy? Is Laurie a good nn or is it too feminine?Do you prefer the spelling Laurence or Lawrence?Combos?Thanks :)

To me, Laurence is a feminine French name. I much prefer the Lawrence spelling, and even then, I'm not a huge fan of the name as it has a weak sound to me. I really dislike the default nn of Larry, too. I much prefer Lorenzo or Laurent.

I really like Laurence, with Laurie or Ren for a nickname. I don't care for the "w" though, since T.E. Lawrence obliterates any other associations. Not that that's a bad thing, it's just odd.

Laurence is girly to me, Lawrence is masculine. Laurie as NN for a boy is cute
