I take it you would pronounce it MAGdaleen and not MAGdaLEEnee.Either way, I find it clunky. I very much enjoy Magdalen with a short -en.Magdalen Joy and Magdalen Victoria would work well.

I really love it. Sometimes it makes it on to my top ten, or even top five. Magdalene Ruth is my favorite combo.

I don’t mind the name actually, though I would hate the nn Magda, so I think it’s better for a mn. Sadie Magdalene is lovely, as would be Ivy Magdalene, Agnes Magdalene, Phoebe Magdalene, Lila / Lily Magdalene, Olive Magdalene, Sage Magdalene, Shari Magdalene, Shiri Magdalene, Ruby Magdalene, Ruth Magdalene, Rose Magdalene, Eve / Eva Magdalene, Esther Magdalene, Amy Magdalene, Alice Magdalene, Ada Magdalene and of course I have to mention the most obvious combo Mary Magdalene ;)

I like Magdalene. It might sound a bit dated, but it looks nice and the “Maggie” nickname is cute.I think Magdalene would be better as a middle name, like so:
Ivy Magdalene
Eva Magdalene
Iris Magdalene
Elena Magdalene
Morven Magdalene
Caitlin MagdaleneMagdalene Arlette
Magdalene Jeanne
Magdalene Aurea
Magdalene Mireille
