[Opinions] Agatha Christie
Another English writer of detective novels, named Agatha Mary Clarissa!• Thoughts on each of these names, and the combo itself?• Do you prefer: > Agatha or Agnes?
> Mary or Maria?
> Clarissa or Clara?• And, of course: what would you name a brother and sister to Agatha Mary Clarissa? Her actual siblings were Margaret Frary "Madge" and Louis Montant "Monty".I like Agatha very much. Witchy, but august and respectable.Mary is warm and hearty, but also very very dull.I'm not fond of Clarissa - it sounds cold and prissy.I like how Mary breaks up two names that are both three syllables long and end in A.I prefer Agatha to Agnes, Maria to Mary, and Clara to Clarissa.Agatha Mary Clarissa, Julius Hugh Theodore, and Ursula Lucy Rosamund.masculine list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/191050/124079
feminine list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/191050/124080 🕊️❣️🌻💌🌻❣️🕊️

Agatha Mary Clarissa is well balanced, and works as a whole quite nicely. I don't dislike Agatha but don't quite like it either.
Mary is wonderful, there is a reason it was #1 for girls for a couple centuries.
Clarissa is only okay, makes me think eternal teen.
Agnes over Agatha.
Mary over Marie .
Clara over Clarissa.Siblings for Agatha Mary Clarrisa could be
Desmond Ernest Charles and Sybil Claudia Jean

Agatha Mary Clarissa is pretty.
I dislike Agatha. I don't like "ag".
Mary is sweet, but so so boring.
Clarissa sounds very...stern.Agatha wins against Agnes. It sounds girlier.
I like Maria way more than Mary or Marie for that matter.
I prefer Clara and Clair to Clarissa.

> Agatha or Agnes? - a difficult to decide I really go back and forth on both. Right now, I think I slightly prefer Agnes. But Agatha is fine too.
> Mary or Maria? - Mary. One of my favourite names. I don't really care for Maria.
> Clarissa or Clara? - Clara. I dislike Clarissa a lot.As a combo Agatha Mary Clarissa is okay but no more.I used to have a character, when I was a kid, who's name was Agatha and her sister was Charlotte, so that's what I'd go with, let's say Charlotte Eileen Pamela and Maxwell Richard Gideon

- I really like Agatha, but not quite enough to use it.
- Mary is too religious for me to use, but I would LOVE to meet a little Mary!
- Clarissa is…bland. Nice, but bland.
- Agatha Mary Clarissa is a good, solid, vintage combo. 8/10
- Agatha, Mary, Clara
- Agatha Mary Clarissa, Victor John Alexander, Nora Patricia Jane

I think...
🔳 Agatha is vintage and somehow I associate it with a poinsettia. I like poinsettia and same goes with Agatha.
🔳 Mary sounds really religious, and I like it because of that! Mary's boy child is the first thing that would come across my mind.
🔳 Clarissa is quite beautiful but it's quite boring, I think. I associate her with the UFC fighter Claressa Shields (even if it's Claressa).
🔳 Agatha Mary Clarissa sounds good and vintage, and I picture her as a proud and charismatic 60s lady who is very well-spoken.- Agatha or Agnes? Agnes. I had a plushie named Agnes when I was younger.
- Mary or Maria? Mary. Simple but charismatic. Like Maria too but not as much as Mary.
- Clara or Clarissa? Of course Clara. It's sounds so white and snowy.

I like Agatha much more than Agnes; unfortunately it sounds really unappealing in Afrikaans, ah-XAH-tah, and a lot of people would assume that was what we intended.
Mary, like John, can be used freely now, I think; after being the top names for centuries, they are now perfectly possible and pleasingly retro. We used it instead of Maria for our daughter's second mn. It worked better in length and rhythm.
Clarissa isn't bad, I think I prefer it to Clara, but I'd use Clare rather than either of them.
