[Opinions] WDYT of Marguerite?
Marguerite has long been one of my favorite names. WDYT of it? Is it too much for a little girl? WDYT about the nn Marta? Any other nn suggestions other than Rita? WDYT of the combos:
Marguerite Concetta
Marguerite Fae
Marguerite Astraea
Marguerite Dinah
Marguerite Fantine
Marguerite Lucine
Marguerite Renata
Marguerite Ruth
Marguerite Wren Any other suggestions?

Ralph: What did she says the play is called?
Leroy: 'Christmas Pageant.'
Ollie: That's no name. That's what it is.
Gladys: I know a name. I'd called it 'Revenge at Bethlahem.'

I've always like the name Mariha. If that helps.

I love Marguerite and it's actually a family name. Tho I prefer it as a middle name, my favorite combo being Isla Marguerite, I do really like it as a first name, even more so since I'm adoring the nn Meg. Marguerite Renata is very cool. I also really like Marguerite Concetta.* Elle *~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Isla Marguerite is gorgeous! Marguerite has been a troublesome name for me as far as nicknames go. I got Marta because someone suggested it to me in a CAF game one day.
Thank you!

I love Marguerite. I love Margaret too, but sometimes she likes to dress up and go out on the town. That's when she turns into Marguerite. :-) I'm not big on the nn Marta as that is the Scandinavian form of Martha. I would much rather see Margot or any other nn for Margaret (Meg, Peggy, Maisie, Daisy, Pearl, etc.) You have some terrific combinations here. My favorites are:Marguerite Astraea
Marguerite Lucine
Marguerite RenataMine:Marguerite Eloise
Marguerite Eulalie
Marguerite Ruby
Marguerite Laurentine
Marguerite Honorine
Marguerite Esme / Esmee
Marguerite Ivy
Marguerite Emilie

Thank you!
Marguerite Ruby, Marguerite Esme and Marguerite Ivy are very pretty. I'e never liked Margot, the sound seems so hum0drum and somewhat masculine to me. Maisie is a cute nn option. I like Pearl but I don't think people would understand it if they didn't already knoe the meaning, but I do really love that name as it makes me think of the Scarlett Letter. Thanks again.

I love the name Marguerite (it's one of my favorites)! My favorite nickname is Margo / Margot. My favorite combo is Marguerite Claire; Marguerite Camille is another one that I like.ETA: Marta is not my style as a nickname (I like it as a full name though).

Thanks!
It's been a favorite of mine for a long time, but I have had issues with nicknames for it. I've never like Margot because it seems...heavy?...I don't know how to describe it.
Marguerite Camille is beautiful! Thanks again!

Marguerite Concetta - so nice to see Concetta. It's one of my favorite family names, so... wow, so nice. That said, it's only okay. It's nice, but it doesn't have much flair.
Marguerite Fae - Hmm... this is cool. It's got spunk.
Marguerite Astraea - This is really cool. I like it a lot.
Marguerite Dinah - eh. The flow is nice, but these names don't seem to go well together, imo.
Marguerite Fantine - Hmm... nice. I really like it.
Marguerite Lucine - Veyr french. Nice flow.
Marguerite Renata - Okay. Like Concetta, it just lacks flair.
Marguerite Ruth - Again, nice flow, but it doesn't grab me.
Marguerite Wren - Always happy to see Wren.

I like all of the combos. But Marguerite has always been hard for me to pronounce or spell.
