Verity has been on my mind a lot lately and I just added it to my list so I was wondering:
WDYT of Verity?
Will it age well? Is it too Puritan?
Combo suggestions?Thanks :)

I like Verity. I would dare say it's one of my favorite names. I think it will age well because there's so few Veritys out there to compare it too. I don't think it's too Puritan as that label could just as easily be applied to other virtue names.Verity _____
Annabel
Amelia
Celeste
Dominique
Francesca
Lilian
Maeve
Constance - probably too much, eh? ;)
Lucille
Melinda
Lucinda
Lucrece
Magdalen

Oooh Verity Arabella is beautiful!Do you mind if I steal it? :p

*LOL* knock yerself out /mI halfway stole it myself - a while back Bex challenged everyone to make combos from her fave names, and I created it from her list. Neither name was on my list at the time, and now both are! So, Bex's names, my idea, and I think she likes it too, so that makes at least 3 of us!

I like Verity.
Does it sound too Puritan? I assume you mean, it's a virtue name, and therefore associated with Puritanism. I hope this doesn't sound hopelessly snobbish, but I believe that a significant number of people, meeting a Verity, would not know the meaning of the name. So considering it "too Puritan" would never be an issue. Truthfully. hehe

probably true - somewhat sad, but true :-/

I met a Verity one time and remember thinking her name was really cool. She turned out to be a not very nice girl though, and that kind of soured my opinion of the name. It's awfully Puritan, but still usable. 1000 times more interesting than Hope or Grace anyway.
