I thought for months that a friend's kid was dating an Adrian, but it turns out he's been a Damian (or a Damien?) all the time. Might that fit?

Oscar - Like as Oskar
Hugo - Like a lot.
Bruno - Not a fan.
Samuel - Classic, you can never go wrong.
Jonathan - I hate this name.
Joseph - I like it, it just is too common.
Marcus - I like the name a lot.
Darius - Too black to me.
Gabriel - I really like Gabriel.
Nathaniel - I love Nathaniel hate Nathan.
Daniel - Love Danny as a nickname.
Adrian - A gorgeous name.
Emanuel - I don't like this spelling.
Jacob - Overused.

Oscar - Like it, but makes me think of boxcar.
Hugo - Um, how can I politely say this? Has a seamy image....
Bruno - Too brutal.
Samuel - Beautiful, but don't like Sam.
Jonathan - Very nice.
Joseph - OK, but I really dislike Joe. Seems tacky.
Marcus - Seems overdone. Mark is better.
Darius - I like this. You don't hear it much but it's not unheard-of either.
Gabriel - The best so far.
Nathaniel - Prefer Nathan.
Daniel - Meh.
Adrian - Ranks up there with Gabriel.
Emanuel - Don't like this at all.
Jacob - There are too many already

Jonathan, Marcus, Darius, Nathaniel and Adrian are okay.
Jonathan and Nathaniel are okay but I don't like any short forms for either. I like Marcus, but I don't like Marc/Mark. I like Martin better. I like Darius better than other Der- names like Derek and Darren.

Oscar: Cool. Sort of Oscar-the-grouch-y, but I don't dislike it
Hugo: Only like as a mn
Bruno: Don't like (it seems like too much of a macho-type dog's name to me)
Samuel: I like Sam but not a big fan of Samuel
Jonathan: This is good, if a little boring
Joseph: Meh. Pretty boring (this is my brother's mn)
Marcus: Okay. I wouldn't mind seeing a little Marcus
Darius: Cool
Gabriel: I love this one
Nathaniel: Also like this (although I prefer Nathan)
Daniel: I like Dan, ambivalent about Daniel
Adrian: I love this
Emanuel: Really like
Jacob: My brother's fn. I think it's pretty boring (and recently popular)

So my favorites are Gabriel, Nathaniel (or Nathan), Adrian, and Emanuel. Oscar, Hugo, and Marcus would be my first choices for middle names. Adrian would make a good mn too if you're worried about it sounding like a girl (I know girls named Adrienne / Adrien pronounced exactly like Adrian).

Oscar - I like it well enough in English but I still think it's quite boring (it's very common here).
Hugo - It's okay. Would you use the english or the spanish prn?
Bruno - Haha no way. I really dislike this name and it feels very nerdy. And then there's the Bruno movie...
Samuel - I inly like it because I could use the Sam nickname. I think this would go great with your childrens names
Jonathan - OKay, but also quite boring
Joseph - Dislike, and I don't think it goes very well with your other childrens names
Marcus - Same as Joseph
Darius - I like it a bit more than Marcus and Joseph, but I don't think this goes with your other childrens named either
Gabriel - Like it, and it's perfect in your sibset
Nathaniel - I like it a lot, but I don't know what I think of it in your sibset
Daniel - Boring
Adrian - Okay...
Emanuel - I prefer Emmanuel. It's okay.

Oscar: I go back and forth with this one. One day I'll like it, and the next I'll think it's ugly thanks to the 'scar'. I'd say...mmm...keep it.
Hugo: One of my favorite names. I love how heavy and ominous it is.
Bruno: Meh. I think that movie might have ruined it for a while.
Samuel: Lovely.
Jonathan: Also lovely.
Joseph: Great name.
Marcus: Meh.
Darius: Nice and slightly different.
Gabriel: It sounds 'handsome.' I like it.
