Cormorant (m) (EDIT: Zipporah)
I wouldn't use Cormorant, but then again, wouldn't use Parakeet, Toucan, Vulture (ugh), Magpie, Parrot, or Warbler. Not Duck or Goose either. However, I would use Peregrine on either gender. Gyrfalcon, Kingfisher, Eagle, Falcon, Hawk, and Merlin on a boy. Lark, Wren, Dove, Kestrel, Sparrow, and Starling on a girl. I would use Nightingale as a girl's middle name, purely for honoring Florence Nightingale, who is a huge heroine of mine. Also, does Zipporah count? It means bird. If so, definitely one of the loveliest bird names, imo. Zipporah Lark is one of my favorite combos.
